This is pretty good.  Some great shots of the Alembic; wish they would keep the camera on him a lot longer.  Bass sounds great even on this old video.

Just saw a shot of the keyboard player!  Only three songs in!

I enjoyed that; thanks for posting!

Cool!  Nice fat tone, and nice playing!  Great tune; chord progression, sudden changes; had to go look up who played bass on the original; Chuck Rainey.  Think I'll go listen to the original now!

Don't think I've seen an all Spruce guitar before.

I'm pretty sure that the post Peter Green order is Kiln House, Future Games, then Bare Trees, etc.  I've listened to those three more than any of the others.

Lovely P tone, Harry!  (Not all P tones are, so - well done, my friend.

Oteil Burbridge - Bass, Lead Vocal
Sam Bush - Mandolin
Charlie Starr - Guitar, Harmony Vocal
Josh Shilling - Keyboards, Harmony Vocal
Marcus King - Pedal Steel
Paul T. Riddle - Drums

Also at DelFest: The Travelin' McCourys - Scarlet Begonias

Well, that was fun!  And I must say, I'm torn between whether I want Marcus's shirt or Charlie's jacket more.
Charlie wins hands down on facial hair & brim, though.
Also - does Ronnie McCoury have a totally bluegrass voice, or what?
But one has to wonder - Greg, I hereby declare that you can put together your dream band to play in; Ronnie or Sam?
(That the choice; we can maybe take up Sharon, Sierra, Sara, et al, at a later date.

Peter (who will be kind and sign off without comment on Marcus on pedal steel.........)

Sounds fantastic.

Lately I've been using pedal preamps like the JHS Punchline or Tech 21 Geddy Lee MP-40 (bassically a YYZ), but the other day I decided to fire up my old blue/red-knob F-2B that I purchased in Japan. Used it with my Fender Donald "Duck" Dunn Signature Precision Bass to do a Steely Dan bass cover.

Had the volume and bass at 11:00, mid at 10:00, treble at 9:00 (and tone knob on the bass down about halfway) - still getting some split-coil P-Bass growl, but I think it fits the track pretty well.

Gah - 73-27!
