Here's two from Friday night:

I know it looks like it's totally finished, but even the first coat of spray looks done in a snapshot.

is it the lighting or did the ash color get a little yellow with the spray coats- if it did- awesome!
I get the distinct feeling that there are loads of hues in that coco that just dont come through in a photo

Can it be true? Yes - and we have witnesses:

Dino was in town today, so he just had to see your bass before we packed it up.

Try to get some rest tonight - I got a feeling tomorrow's going to be a loooooong day for you.

ITS HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

its perfect!!!!!!!!!

my god how the photos dont do it justice. the color is a very red chocolately hue thingy- its the only thing i can think of......
there is so much going on in the wood.. amazing depth, the grain seems to be floating. there are some nice slightly irredescent spots all over adding to its depth
but most of all-
the quality,.,the quality,,,,, the quality......
i knew these guys were good... but not in my wildest imaginations......
the neck is exactly what i hoped for- the dimensions i came up with were dead on- like butter w tight spacing
if you got short fingers?- this is the neck for you
oh - i think its time to take baby to the basement and plug this sucker in-
have been staring at for 1 hour

It's great to see stuff like this come out of the factory while waiting for my first custom Alembic... Its the end of the month,... I wouldn't be surprised if this baby gets the July Featured Custom with all the cool inlay and such! Yes... this looks like a winner!

well - mica is right- this sucker is very hard to photgraph because the coco is so dark, and that might hurt my chances for custom of the month
but if you head over to the showcase, i have put up some photos
