Here's my latest sketch with actual pictures of the Vermilion top...

Simulating the shine is a very difficult thing, so I'll have to leave the rest up to my imagination...

I LOVE IT!

WOW!
I love that color... There's something retro about the shape and color I love so much...

The hardest part is going to be waiting for calibration to be complete.

I'm also betting that this is going to be one of the longest FTC threads ever!

I suggest you save your betting money, because
David's 12-string Bass (6x2) FTC thread is the longest.

But, I understand what you mean. The Dream threads under Hendixclarke was very long, mainly because the edits, were the driving force.

However, FTC thread, is beyond the dreams, its reality. Every detail about the Toma_Hawk, is known and documented.

Therefore technically, my role is is complete.

Thus, I think this thread will be relatively short.

I can't lie, I will drool, after seeing real pictures of the Toma_Hawk bass, for at that  point, the physical appearance is complete.

However, the devil is in the details, and true beauty is beyond the appearance...

I have much comfort, knowing Ron is at the helm, adding his finishing touches, which includes  calibrating... Yes, It will be hard waiting, but Ron's job is critical.

To be honest enzo, I believe this experience alone, has added 10 extra years to my life expectancy.

Now, I have a even trade... My wife can take everything else...

Nut width = 1.60 in

1st Fret Neck Thickness = 0.80 in (Flat neck where the thumb rest, (positioned behind the neck)  to where the fingerboard meets)

17th Fret Neck Thickness = 0.96 in (Flat neck where the thumb rest, (positioned behind the neck)  to where the fingerboard meets)

24th Fret width = 2.15 in

I like very much the combination 2 purple heart, 1 ebony and those thin maple stripes in between makes it very classy.

Really nice neck lams Hakeem- I agree with enzo- the thin maple veneers are sharp.
