If it's a question of whither, or not the guitar has a PF-6B preamp card... (meaning calibration of these preamp cards) and if series basses are deemed with the cards, I think the possibilities are almost with an absolute certainty, Ron would be the last line of defense on series basses, with exceptions to other customs.

I am sure, he has his apprentice, but I know -- it is he (Ron) working on the the Toma_Hawk -- exclusively.

Truly, Mica owns this answer.

Peace and Love,

Altgrendel,

Without question, I will post enough pictures.

My favorite picture are depth to field close ups and ratios in relationship to the sizes of other guitars. In fact, I love those group shots posted from Keavin #12 with all those Alembics standing next to each other. Without question, those are the best pictures on Alembic.com and it's the best pictures for looking for size comparisons.

For example, if I was interested in a new bass, I would look for those group shot pictures of all those varieties of basses. In those pictures, you'll be able to take away something with more meaning, than what meets the eyes.

What is particularly interesting about Mica's pictures, are when one of the technicians holds, and pose with the instrument. You really get a better perspective of the basses size, and granular dimensions as well.

So, I will post hopefully, some very interesting picture too.

Peace and Love,

Hal-

jazzyvee, i had to have some electronics worked on that had somehow shorted out(scared me to hell, smoke coming out, tears to my eyes) and when i sent Mica an e-mail about it she asked me to leave a note on the package directed to her. so i'm pretty sure that Mica and company can perform on the non-series instruments no problem.

You're beautiful Greg.

I was hoping it would be you, altgrendel, Garth,  Sonicus or Wolf to hit #500.

Greg,

Just wait until you have your bass streaming through this Internet FTC, I'll be your #1 fan!

As to your question about the Toma_Hawk...
According to Mica, Ron has this bass.

I have complete faith that the Toma_Hawk will be a BAAAD MOTHER... Shut your mouth!

When he's done! (an you can dig it...)

Your bass design is awesome...

Stanley Clarke-

For those people who originally felt the same way about this bass, another person just joined us in agreement.

Stanley Clarke? What does he know about Alembics and about bass playing?
He will always be one of my idols....

Wow what a nice video!!! THANK U!!!
I had the chance to see him in concert in Mexico city in. 1995, with Al Dimeola and Jean Luc Ponty, there was no drummer.... So he had the responsibility of the whole rythm, he stole the show, he is SO cool...
I can see why he uses mainly Alembics, that kind of lead sound can only come from an Alembic.
