Just this minute discovered the video I did with Musical Youth earlier on in the year. The track was recorded for the current album "When Reggae Was King" and I played my black maple Europa 5 bass. The song originally was recorded live at a showcase gig at a local music college theatre. However there was a lot of spill into the mics and other technical issues everything was re-recorded in the studio except my bass line which was DI'd so came out in tact and clean. :-)

I only used the classico for the video because.... well.... why not. :-)

Enjoy.

Cool, Jazzy!     The Classico looks great!  And, if I'm not mistaken, isn't that also your laser engraved Strat in the video?

Well spotted Bill, it is the same one. It seemed appropriate for a Wailers track and the guitarist was ok about using it for the video shoot as he also is a strat player.

We just watched your video Jazzy; loved it!  Though it could have used more screen time for that bass.   :)

Yea Jazzy, that's a cool vid.. sounds great!
The bass player’s function, along with the drums, is to be the engine that drives the car… everything else is merely colours.

I wish we could do a vid, but I shudder to think of what Josh might do if he knew he was on TV... he's a loose enuff cannon on a live stage.  ::)

You should do one it was good afternoon of fun in a break in the covid lockdown and the video crew were a great bunch of people.
Hope we get to do more.

Here is another pic from behind the stage at the last gig I did with my quartet in October 2019 at the Symphony Hall in Birmingham. Our next gig is in April.
