Something's wrong.  I know I didn't hit the post button twice, but it posted twice anyway (& it took FOREVER to do so). I guess that explains your multiple posts, Mike.  Obviuously this site wasn't programmed by Alembic!

Bill; there was indeed something wrong, a server problem.  But Mica fixed it and we're back to 'normal'; I think a large hammer may have been utilized.  I removed Mike's excess posts; but there was nothing I could do about his padded numbers !

Hi Mike (and everyone else coming to the SLC get together). I have to travel to a gig on the following morning (3/16), so I'll have my amp setup with me.

Mike, we've talked a little about the Read Purity tube preamp and Bergantino cabs I'm using. If it's o.k. with everyone I'd be happy to fire it up and let everyone play through it.

Give me a ring when you have time,
                                    Derwin.

Mike, Derwin, et al,
I'd be happy to play through some different rigs.  Not having ever been much of a gearhead, I would like to hear what other amps, etc sound like.
I need some help, please.  I've tried to e-mail Mike and I'm not sure my messages are getting through.  We're getting close to the time and I don't have an address or phone numbers for anyone.  If any of you guys know them please e-mail me with info.  We'll be leaving for SLC on Sunday, 3-13.
I'm really looking forward to this.  With any luck my new (1998) Epic 5 will arrive in time to go with me.

Mike, I haven't gotten any e-mails.  The address on my profile is correct.  I'm assuming that the address on your profile is correct and my e-mails have gotten through.

Thanks to all the Salt Lake City Alembicians (especially Mike, the organizer and Bryan, the drummer) for the hospitality and the chance to jam and see and hear the huge variety of Alembics.  There were some beautiful instruments there, truly stunning.  I'm sure that there will be pictures posted of the gathering.
Thanks again to all.
