Wouldn't you know that weekend, 10/21, is when Stanley Clarke and Bela Fleck will be here.  I've already bought those tickets and both isn't practical.  My consolation is the DVD from the London shows is due out sometime this fall.
Enjoy and say hello to the greatest band on Earth for me.

I do.  The face value on the ticket I was given for Paul McCartney's Miami show recently was $252.  Good thing it was company sponsered.  I tried to talk them into sending me to the Cream show but to no avail.

Try stubhub.com....prices of up to $3k - $4k!!!!!

Legal ticket scalping (aka, gouging) is alive and well in a capitalist marketplace!

I love the Cream, but not that much, LOL!

I think I'll wait for the DVD to see how much the Clapton of the 21st century doesn't sound or play like the Clapton of '68.

good grief....These guys are probably millionares many times over (Paul, clapton and the stones at least)....How can they justify those prices?  Or is it the promoter that sets the prices???

$20 for the new Royal Albert Hall (5/05) DVD is more like it! LOL! It's being released next week.

Lets see how much I like their performance before I shell out the big bucks to catch them live at the Garden in NYC.

Yes..tickets are a tad out of line.
One site I looked at the starting price for Cream tix was  $3100. For that kind of money I'd expect them to be playing in my living room !
I recall paying something like $5 to see Cream in the 60's. (ok I'm dating myself)  Inflation !
Saw McCartney's 2nd tour at $62.50, last one was $250+. Owww
We all have to eat, but who pays 3000+ for a 3 hour show ?
Like Kevin, I think I'll get the DVD.
Kind of a shame the only posted dates for Cream in the US is in New York.
