Don't forget the keyboardist.  Man + Keys = (Whatever is worse than) Man.

Hilarious and 99% of the time I'd agree.

However, the other night the contemporary country project I'm currently playing in with three 20-somethings (I'm *gasp* 52) played for a rather large crowd, including several attractive 20-something women, two of whom sought me out to chat me up after.

At that moment, life was pretty durn good.

As the song goes: I may not be a good as I once was, but I'm as good once as I ever was.

Or, you could dramatically improve your chances with a simple substitution:

Ha!  That last one sounds good in theory, but in practice you'd just end up going home with a bunch of other bassists.

But they could be FEMALE bassists...

Think positively and see subject of earlier Tramp Stamp thread for an excellent example...

13 years of loyalty?  Is that a euphemism for not married?  My wife and I married 18 months after we met.  I considered it quick, while she was wondering what took me so long!

As a wise man once told me:

1. It is important to find a woman who cooks and cleans.

2. It is important to find a woman who is a bright and interesting conversationalist.

3. It is important to find a woman who is passionate and loving in bed.

4. It is important that these three women never meet.

hehehehe

Got you beat, Bill; 18 weeks - coming up on 30 years ago in August.  Had 9 years of loyalty with the one before her, then discovered she defined monogamy as the guy doesn't sleep around, if you get my drift.

Maybe not the most extreme math for my wife and me:

3 years from the time we met to the wedding
25 years and 2 days of marriage, so far
2 great kids
40 musical instruments (quite a few basses in there)
1 fortunate guy,

In all the ways that really matter, I'm

I dunno, Terry; 13 years kinda sounds like commitment to me.  And if he's such a good bud, why didn't tell you this 13 years ago?
