Yes, I check EBay every day. The whole bridge assembly seems to sell for around $175, which is too much when I just need the one screw and saddle.

I can't play the bass as it is.

Buy a piece of nylon 6/6 and cut your own.

I saw one of these on eBay a few years ago and it included the posts and holders that go into the bass for $50.  So I bought it, as I have several old Gibsons that use em.  You are looking for a shorter saddle and saddle screw, yes?  E-mail me your shipping address and it is yours, next time I go to post something.  Nerf! Sorry I do not come read stuff very often, anymore.

Are you looking to replace the E string one, or E and G?  Mine are stock, so do not have grooves filed into them.  Best to explain things simply to me, as I am pretty dumb.  Did you file the E one down, as it was a 'middle' one/taller one?

Opps, I misspoke myself, like a true politician.  These did come with grooves.  I found four saddles, all the same size (Told ya I was dumb these daze), grooved from E to G size.  Found three screws in a box with a complete set of LP Triumph guts I bought just for the pick-up rings a decade or so ago.  So all I need is your address and you should be good to go in a week or so.

OK, typical Gibson consistency in the products over any given time span, no matter how short the duration . . .  The picture seems to show un-grooved saddles, and it might just be the angle, but on the two saddles/screws by themselves in the picture, one looks taller/thicker on the shoulders than the other - As I seem to remember.  My basses are put away in their closet, so too much of a hassle for me to check this out on.  OK, I will shut up and go away now.

Now that's a handy web site! Yes, that earlist bridge is the one, with those nylon saddles. What a goofy design that bridge is!

Good.  If ya see someone on here looking for something you have an extra of, 'pay it forward.'  Never saw the movie, but I liked the concept advertised in its commercials . . .
