This is sitting outside the north face of the building now:

We've been redoing some of the shop and this old workbench is now surplus. My dad said it's one of the oldest things here and was originally part of the risers for the San Francisco chorus that we converted to a workbench. It's not rock solid, but if anyone wants it, come and geddit!

An Alembic workbench -- that has got to make its way into someone's world.

If I lived closer I'd have already been there tp pick it up. Now this is a piece of ALEMBIC HISTORY.

Determining the historic value of this bench reminds me of the friendly discussion of the value of Jaco's Bass of Doom on another recent thread...

Historic value is ,as with most things, gauged according to it's relevance to the individual.

What Olie said!  I'd love to have that in my workshop!
The only thing that stays the same is change.

It's actually still there. I feel funny about throwing it away. Somebody took the old bandsaw blade though! But I better do something about it - yesterday, someone donated an old couch to the outdoor decor.

Historic Value?

It certainly looks Historic(al), but I'm not sure about the Value part, hua hua hua...
Not just a bass, this is an Alembic!
