That is not an Alembic body. Period. It's not one of our templates, and the roundover is not correct. If if were an Alembic, it would have have this thing called a neck running down the middle, not a decorative strip. Not sure what lady they say they talked with, but none of the current ladies (we have three) recall seeing this guitar.
The notion that it was converted to a bolt-on is laughable. This was obviously intended from the origin to not be neck-through. You guys already knew that though.
Maybe a shop night, but not what we call Alembic around here.
