Today's Daily Double, a koa-topped Persuader with a single AXY. Looks like they have the coveted build card and the ohsc too.

1985... now there was a pretty good year. I knew who I was and what I was doing. Had it all figured out. Yessiree. Knew it all.

It still is strange for me to see a one pickup Alembic with only two knobs. Personally would miss the bridge pickup. But I like the sound of the neck pickup soloed on my Spoiler, so I bet it sounds great. There is something to say for simplicity as well. Looks great!

Can confirm a single pickup (vol/filter) Alembic can be a lot of fun.  My shop night special has a single pickup installed at 70's Jazz bass bridge pickup spacing.  It doesn't look like it, the tape measure doesn't lie.  It has a very unique voice and it's a lot of fun of play.

Looks more Jazz neck pickup position or P bass position to me. 70's bridge position is really close to the bridge, something like 3cm.
