This one's in Pennsyl-delphia. I believe there's a deal to be made if one wanted a fiver with some color.

BeenDown139

doing a little doom-scrolling before the afternoon nap and this caught my eye.

it doesn't say but i'm gonna assume maple body, so it shiould be nice and snappy. signature electronics?  i dunno i've seen many essessencess with a Q switch.  probably warrants some investigation. OHSC?  doesn't say.  at that price it better come with imho.  can't believe that a plain jane essence is hitting close to $4k USD these days. ymmv.

ggood luck to all!
Been down...now i'm out!

It doesn't say, but almost certainly this bass has a Maple body. Certainly not Signature electronics, but AI isn't very good at judging what features are on a custom bass. Maybe a Q-switch was added?

This view of the back inclines me to believe all maple... whole buncha' maple.

Yeah, this fella isn't long on details. It seems like they just want to offload some guitars, hence my thinking there's a deal to be struck. Agree; Essence controls, w/added Q. I have never played a gig where that wouldn't do.

Seems like I remember Joey's Emerald Tiger being a darker shade. Almost like British Racing Green. He still claims you cain't sell a green bass. 😆

Likely added a filter switch to the vol/pan/filter giving you an Essence with Elan controls.  I imagine this bass is a rock and roll machine of biblical proportions.  And also green.  Hulk smash.

That's because Joey's was intended to be emerald from the get-go. This bass was probably originally green glow, then painted blue over it to get an emerald green, but it's a little more intense that way.

Missing a couple of plate screws and the battery cover is shiny, a little chattered on the edge, and the screws don't look countersunk. Maybe it's replaced or just on upside down.
