Thanks for posting.  Good mini-documentary.  Yea, one wonders where the narrator found some of the pronunciations.  My favorite is when he mentions other great bass players, including "Jack ca SADE ee"!

Yeah, there were several, but "Ohsley" & cas ADE ee" were real prize-winners.

I lived in Corpus Christi, TX, for a year in the early 80's, and made a few trips through the King Ranch down to the LRGV (that's Lower Rio Grande Valley for you gringos) to Brownsville and the area down at the bottom.  And you hear a lot of Tejano music like this from the Texas Tornadoes, most of whom are now passed on, Doug Sahm, Freddie, Augie, and Flaco Jimenez.  One more style of music you'd have to absorb and be able to play if you worked a lot of the Texas joints I came up in.

I'm not sure if that's her '09 Master Model or the recent Custom Shop signature model based on scans of it. Ain't neither one el-cheepo, for sure. I'm also curious what Shaun is playing there. Looks like an old 'bone. Could be a newer Custom 'Aged' Authentic. Whatever it is, he's getting the best out of it. Sister Sledge that kid's got a six-string brain!

That was very nice.  I've watched Movements 1 & 3 now; need to listen to Movement 2 next.
