Yep, this came up in my feed last week (or the one before?) too. I very much enjoy when the Haas sisters put on a show. Must confess that I can't understand how Natalie can play with her bow cranked that tight, and yet I totally get why she has to. I simply can't get the hair to bite the strings when pulled that taut. All I get is squawks. Not so bad if I loosen up. (quite sure I'm doing it wrong...) 😏

About a month ago I found this album, on a dusty old cassette tape. I'd forgotten what a brilliant musician Mike Snider was. (and still is...)

Top-notch players on here.

Ever since I discovered them as a teen, the Allmans' LIVE AT FILLMORE EAST and Eric's LAYLA AND OTHER ASSORTED LOVE SONGS have loomed over me like the Twin Towers of my musical life.  I became a huge Tedeschi-Trucks fan (go figure . . . ) and ran across their cover of 'Tell the Truth' from LAYLA with Trey Anastasio and Doyle Bramhall the second along for the ride.

I've been fortunate to see Stanley play this track many times live and each feel fresh. Incredible young musicians in his band too. Dragon's breath!👍🏿🎶🥳😜

Tedeschi Trucks released a live album, Layla Revisited (Live at LOCKN'), which I purchased and downloaded, because .. same reasons you stated.  Recommended.

New Deep Purple. Man, these guys do not stop! I've listened to them since about 4th grade/1974. I've been impressed with their 21st century works. This one cooks - Arrogant Boy.

Made In Japan was my first Deep Purple album.
This new stuff is really good!

A nice little tribute to The Greatest Electric Bassist Who Ever Lived; properly reverential (if perhaps a tad shy on proper name pronunciation.....):
