Thanks, it was wonderful to revisit that video today!  I turned it up loud on the stereo (as I'm getting ready to leave the house for my hearing test).  :)

Another groovy Playing For Change vid; if you don't know, Gilberto Gil is the former Brazilian Minister of Culture, and a close friend of John Perry Barlow:

Sierra Hull's new project is kinda' out there... it's called "The Movements". Here's 1 & 2. They've been doing the one called Movement 3 for a while. Maybe there are more on the way.

You accidentally posted Movement 1 twice.......

I REALLY like this.... I endorse Sierra going "kinda' out there"

Here is 2. (Getting a Hedges vibe off this one). 😎

That is some really interesting stuff!

What actually happened was, I had both saved to a clipboard but when I tried to preview the post, the page suddenly froze. It didn't appear to post at all. After that, I just kept getting a dialog box telling me to log in. But I couldn't. Here was Movement 3 from Wintergrass last year.

I sent that to my old buddy Bob, who pointed out who was on bass.
When  I was working for Vanessa Davis Band, I would pick up one-off sound jobs here & there, and do our opening acts sometimes.
I did sound multiple times for both Skid City & Lonnie Brooks - who both had Harlan Terson The Blues Person on bass.  Several years later I used to go hang with a band Bob & Harlan were both in.
And I had completely missed him when I watched it.
Mr. Terson was already a pillar of the Chicago blues scene when I got there in '79; so good to see him still kicking buttocks!

Peter (who will add that Harlan is an A-One traditional blues bassist; not straying too far from I-V-I-V.......but swinging it, and dead solid; he's a stone pro, and they ain't a lot of blues bands looking for the next Phil, ya heard?)

I made it to about 2/3s the way through when I needed to do other things.  Interesting how the different instruments come in and out, sometimes playing with the basic rhythmic figure but then moving away from it; a seemingly chaotic but structured ebb and flow.
