I mean, I would be really upset about the chrome hardware. That's definitely the only reason to ditch this bass.

If anyone finds out the origin, please email me so I can invite the builder to stop infringing on our registered trademark. It's bad enough when they try to copy things, but the logo is really over the top.

That actually looks like an earlier 70s hand cut logo, if it's not real it's a pretty good replication

It's certainly not a real logo.

Exactly what I was thinking! And that logo is too small.

It is, but it's detailed enough that in pictures the scale is less noticeable. I honestly couldn't tell if it was too small or the headstock was ridiculously big. I wonder if the logo was 3D printed or something? It's for sure the most Alembic-looking thing on that bass.

it's pretty unbelievable what they'll 3-D print these days.  my dental crowns all are.  kinda surprised a fake logo hasn't already showed up.  it doesn't take much to capture a scan of something and have it 3-D printed these days.  good thing they can't 3-D print wood or we'd be awash in fakes.
i'm actually having a 3-D printed head made from a selfie to fit where the headstock should be on my headless status.  gonna freak out my bandies next gig.  kinda like a mini-me.

cheers!

The link is now showing to me like this. But the listing is still available.
Wonder what's going on.
