Alright, beendown, I figured this would get your attention. It's unlined, 5-string, and has an Alembic logo. So it checks those boxes. Nice price too. Could be a nice little bass to haul around worry-free. I have no affiliation, just found it sipping coffee.

well it certianly did as those words always do. thanx for the heads-up. unfortunately i'm outta the bass market these days. even if i find one that clicks
all the boxes (long scale, unlined, 5 strings, series or anneversary elctronics, lit neck). which i still have yet to see after 4 years of searching.
got an essence fiver fretless that's gonna hafta do. i'd like to upscale it but it's gonna be my player until i hit the big sleep.

I dig this bass. I'd love a 5 string fretless, but I wouldn't use it enough to warrant making it an Alembic, even at that great price. My only question is the mention of Bartolini electronics.
