Here is the original cut from 30-some years ago. 


So "Baltimore Johnny", was John Glik, Del's fiddler in the Dixie Pals for quite a few years, from you-guessed-it, Baltimore. Ronnie wrote the tune as a tribute. Also in that band was one my mentors, Hershel Sizemore, and bass player Jack Leonard Jr. 

Weird, hearing these things come back around. 

Just watched this and wanted to share it here for anyone that might find it interesting, before I go wash dishes.

It's a cover of Shine On You Crazy Diamond; but what makes this video unique, and in my view quite amazing, is the amount of work that went into it, and that the work is videoed.  I thought it was pretty great.
