He can get pretty noisy, but for a free jazz exponent, he can play a gorgeous melody. He was a really nice guy, and had fantastic stories.

Margo's band took First Prize at Clifftop in the traditional category up in West Virginia this past weekend. 

I imagine they're all headed for Galax, Virginia now.

EP 9 from Vince's 50 Years From Home dropped last night. I almost slept through it. 


I wonder just how many more songs that cat has in bin somewhere? I don't think he has any thoughts it's going to lead to some big career resurgence. He's just doing what he does.
