Listening on my headphones, I thought the bass was up way too much in the mix.  Might have to listen again through the main speakers when I get a chance.

I was listening in my car, and it was a little bass forward, but in a good way — on headphones, it might have been too much.

Gotta' catch those guys when they are close. I saw them here a few seasons ago, but Jack didn't have the Starfire with him. I did ask about it and his eyes lit up. 

I see they're playing at the Birchmere in Alexandria in August. I won't be able to make it, but any Club Members up that way... that's a great venue.

Thanks for the Anthony Phillips.  Had not heard that before.

As a kid, I sang in the boy's choir at a local Episcopalian church — I'm pretty sure it set me up to be a fan of British folk and prog rock.

Whenever I hear "wicked game" I think of the first time I heard it, which was coming through the trees at the Hornby Island mtn bike festival near the end of the race; any racer knows 'bonking' but I was BONKED hard and I don't know how I was still on my bike but my addled self was still riding when the afterparty sound system was testing with that song; weird to hear in my state...I was last to finish but who cares, I didn't die in the woods, and I can honestly say that beer saved my life; one of the guys I went with was a brewmaster and put liquid in me STAT! Hornby Island at that time of year, a lot of wells get kinda sketchy so you get your hydration where you can...

I tried to buy the box-set of The Early Years a good while back but the site was all fouled up. My malware protection service won't even let me use their store now. I think Mick's been somewhat distracted and drawn off course by the Lahaina Fire. 

I know you like what you like, but I like all of it. I grew up in the 70's and 80's. If you were hearing Rumours tracks in the skating rink at age 8, and then Tango tracks your senior year of high school, that becomes a part of the soundtrack of life. If you're a true fan of the band, then you start looking at the beginning.
