Hi guys

I ordered a "q switch for activators" for my Essence on June 9th.
I received an email as order confirmation including a link for order progress.2 days later my bank paid Alembic.
Since then the order status is "confirmed",this has not changed.
I sent 2 emails at orders@alembic.com asking about order progress but there is no reply.I called Alembic numerous times but unfortunately nobody answers my phonecalls.
I was often checking about availablity of the switch because it was marked as "out of stock"for several months.When "out of stock" was removed i placed my order.
I know that Alembic is a small family company with about 10 employees or less,so communication is difficult.
Is there anything else i could do in order to find out what is going on with my order?
Any suggestions?
Any thoughts?

The internet domain was changed a while back, as you can see from the URL for the Club. If you sent mail to orders@alembic.com then it won't have reached the intended mailbox. Use orders@alembicguitars.com instead.

7 days later, numerous phonecalls,order since June 9th but still no response...
My money is in Alembic bank account but...for no reason?
Where is my q switch?

Hi Prog;

Yesterday here in the US was a very major holiday, the 250th anniversary of this country's independence.  (Yes, compared to a lot of other countries, 250 years is pretty young; but here it's a big deal.)  I haven't heard from the shop, but like a lot of small businesses here, they may have taken a long holiday (rare for them, they tend to work long hours with little time off.)

We've left a message for the shop for when they return advising them of your situation.  Give it a few more days, and if you still haven't heard from or can't get in touch with them, let me know.

I'm looking at my inbox and spam filtering for anything the resembles a message from you, Prog13. Are you using the same email address as is in your profile here? I cannot find an email from you, sorry. 

I did find out from messaging my coworkers that your switch was made and is ready to ship. It was erroneously marked complete on our order report, but she said it it on her desk and will be shipped to you on Monday. 

Please try and email again - I want to make sure we can get the tracking number to you.

I know about July 4th,every country in the world has independence days and national celebrations,but i was calling them since June 15th,not just yesterday.
My e-mail was sent on 29th of June after adriaan's recommendation to the right mail address orders@alembicguitars.com

Now it makes sense to me.
It has nothing to do with my e-mail sent on June 29th but since you ask for it i will resend it to you about the tracking number.

As i mentioned on my first post:

Since"out of stock" gets removed, then it means that the switch is "in stock".

Now you tell me that "your switch was made"
So there is no stock q switches but made only upon order?
So it takes some time to make a new switch+"erroneously marked complete on our order report"...now it makes sense.

We make the switches in batches. When they are out of stock, it means that the actual switch component is reserved for instruments we are completing - it's a custom made part. The delay if we have to wire another batch of retrofit switches is generally just one day - not worth putting things in and out of stock for that. Unfortunately, your order was made, gathered, and checked off the list as shipped. We are sorry about the error.
