Not as many as I used to get. I really miss touring to be honest.
But I guess its easier to get these kind of gigs because I've been fortunate to get into them with bands that were/still are famous.

Hey, that bass player is using an Alembic! O.K., I certainly understand the Musical, but, in all due respect, Youth? Lol!

Ok Bill, maybe I need to do a Bill Clinton and get a legal definition for Musical Youth before using that term again. Any suggestions?
We are all youthful at heart but age is against us. :-)
Anyhow here is a clip from Friday's gig in Trafalgar Square.

I'm doing this gig with Musical Youth tomorrow at the New Cross Inn, London
http://www.newcrossinn.com/?p=2&id=549
Not sure if I'm playing bass or guitar for this one. The guitarist is out of the country on another gig at short notice so I've been asked to stand in on guitar and the bass will be handled by a guy who was covering for bass before I took on that role.
However he has a gig in the daytime so I'm carrying bass and guitar just in case he gets held up or can't make it to London in time.

That would be the most expensive Alembic ever: Custom doubleneck, made en delivered within one day :-)
They would have to rent a (big) plane, rearrange the interior of that plan to a makeshift workshop and build it while travelling to the nearest airport where your gig is.
I think it would be best to take a near finished guitar and bass, cut them up and attach them to each other.
For finish I would suggest they pick up the Rickenbacker crew with their UV cure spray booth, since the woods of the guitar and bass probably won't match I think a solid finish would look better.
You can always have the bass shipped back to Alembic after the gig for a refinish that meets Alembic standards.
I think this can be done for a few 100K dollars (including the refinish) ask Mica/Susan to be sure.
Btw: Come to Holland and have fun at the gig!

Sorry Jazzy, that kind of cash is way above my pay grade! This might be a cheaper option -
