Art (your faithful moderator) was playing in Knoxville this weekend, so we had an emergency Alembic gathering. Art is a helluva nice guy and I enjoyed spending the afternoon with him. From L to R: Art's Hyak, SC Green bass, SI, Spoiler, and an Orion. Oh yea... me and Art are in there too!!!

The Hyak was an amazing instrument. TONS of low end despite a Maple body. I guess all the graphite in the neck helps preserve the fundamental.

I arrived back early this morning after the weekend in Knoxville. Mike extended wonderful hospitality and made the trip very pleasurable this week. His studio and collection are just wonderful (I really love the green shorty - pry it from my fingers). Regards to your family and again, thanks so much Mike!
