Question: What do you get when you cross a Little Darling guitar, a Jan Al flight case and a round trip ticket to San Francisco?

Answer: The chance to jam with Moder Dave and William G. Panzer, Esquire!!!

My Rogues and I will be there, and I'll be bringing the latest version of the Super Prince amp I build. Haven't heard an Alembic guitar through it yet--can't wait!

I'm considering selling or trading the '95 Epic 5 Fretless I recently restored.  I'll be bringing it to the gathering, if anyone is interested.  I've posted a thread in the for sale or trade section that has a link to pics.  FOUR DAYS AND COUNTING!!!!

I'll be moving my son to Hollywood in June, wish I was going to be out there for the gathering Saturday! I do plan to visit the Mothership while I'm out there though! Have fun, can't wait to see the pictures! Someone shoot some video & post it on You Tube!

Wolf, the cell reception is, to be kind, periodic. If you stand in the right spot, facing the right direction, you might be able to hear 1 out of every 3 words in the conversation.

Rusty,

A common mis conception about California: Hollywood is about a 6+ hour drive to the SF bay area. Throw in the traffic near the metroploitan areas and you talking a long drive day between them. You may have already known this, but I just thought you should plan accordingly.

Looking forward to tomorrow!

Ken

Verizon is a little better out there.

I have a bunch of guitar stands from when I exhibit at the 2x a year World Guitar Show, so I'll have a few extra in the car in case anyone needs a stand.  See y'all tomorrow!

Thanks Ken! Yes, I knew the drive was going to be a long one. We plan to make it an overnight trip from Hollywood. We will spend the night in San Francisco, hopefully do an early tour the next day of the Mothership, then head back to Hollywood. We will be out there around 10 days, so I wanted to take the time to see the factory while I'm in the neighborhood. Compared to Texas, Hollywood is in the neighborhood of Santa Rosa! Have fun tomorrow!

Rusty:

Hit me up when you are nearing your trip and I can give you some suggestions for scenic drives, places to stop, etc.  You can easily spend the whole day coming up the coast or even overnight it, if you have the time.  If you are in a rush either way, you can shoot straight down I5 and easily do the S.F./L.A. leg in 6 hours or less.  Boring, straight road the whole way, but fast.
