Dallas 2014?

At the last gathering, someone left a nice thank you note on the chalkboard in the kitchen.  Hard to believe, but it's been almost a year since that gathering.
 
I know Wayne has his short scale  rescue series bass ready.  Not sure when Rusty's S2 custom is due, but would think soon.  And we have to celebrate the recovery of David's basses.  In short, we should get together again.
 
Given our track record for scheduling gatherings, I thought I would start the thread and see what the interest level might be.
 
I'm happy to volunteer the house again if everyone liked the way that turned out.
 
The format worked pretty well last time (out of town arrivals Friday, dinner, gig, Saturday jam, cookout, etc.)  Heck, half of us even made it to church.  And the best part was meeting new friends.  Would be fun to expand the circle even more.  (Christian, fancy a trip to Dallas again)?
 
My schedule is a bit up in the air right now, so I'll let someone else throw out dates to start.

June 21, Aug 2 are out for me, otherwise everything else is manageable.

Hey John, I would love to do another Gathering this year, but would want to wait until my Europa is finished, which may not be until after the summer. They just finished the clear coats on it & it is getting inlays now, then they make the brass hardware & send it off for plating, then it goes back to finish to get the blue paint & more clearcoat, then build the electronics & final assembly & setup by Ron. So they still have a lot of work to do on it. We are going out there in July to visit our son & going by the factory to see what is hopefully a fully assembled bass waiting for tweaking from Ron, but I'm not holding my breath. I will be happy if the finish is completed so I can see the blue in person, anything else will be a bonus!
 
I loved having it at your house & thank you for offering it again! as far as dates, I don't think I will have my bass before August - October. Hopefully the wonderful people at Alembic will prove me wrong, but I think there is at least a couple of more months work to do on my bass.
 
I will come even if my bass isn't finished, but I would much rather wait until it is so everyone can see it in person. Last year's Gathering was very instrumental (pardon the pun!) in motivating me to get this custom build so it would be very nice to be able to display the fruit of the seed that was planted at the next Gathering!
