German!!!!!  Believe me, Jazzy, you sound properly British on this side of the pond.  But then again, so did the Beatles.  Unless one has close experience, it can be hard to detect different incarnations of a similar accent.  For example, most Californians can detect a New York accent, but are unable to discriminate between a Bronx vs. Brooklyn vs. Long Island accent, as native New Yorkers easily do.

George, you don't have to be from Texas, last time we had a foreigner all the way from Oklahoma! LOL! Besides, I love your accent!

Well David, these days Texas is more like Northern Mexico, but that's a whole different discussion! The location of the Gathering doesn't define the attendants, we are all Alembic Brothers! :-)

I used to think I was indecisive, but now I'm not so sure.

David, I haven't sent out an email yet, but while waiting for everyone to commit to June 20, my band got a booking. If that is the only date we can meet I will just have to leave by 2 or 3 to get to my gig on time.

Invitation to the brethren - It's on this Saturday in Plano.  Come one, come all!  Just bring your Alembic!  We'll have 5 - count'em - 5 COTMs together, along with 4 or 5 premium rigs including at least a couple in stereo (hear how Father Wickersham intended your bass to be heard).  I'll be unveiling my stereo rig with an original ELF integrator and a pair of Bag End S18s.  Let me know if you'd like to join and I'll get you details via email.  Several of the guys have volunteered spare bedrooms for out of towners, and lunch is on us, so you just need to get here!

Teasers.

Excuse the lousy size; New iPhone, forgot to check the camera settings, errrrg.  We had some new guests; tried some new basses. I had a great time. Wonderful day, today.  And Yes, Rusty's "Orca" is as beautiful to play as it is to admire.

I had to go straight from Dallas to Katy to play tonight but I will post my pictures tomorrow. I had a great time seeing everyone & meeting new friends! I think we had over 20 Alembics plus a Ritter, Fender Jazz, & Dan Electro!
