I'm back in touch with a drummer I used to play with a very long time ago - 30 years??? Anyway, he has been driving truck all over the country 15 of those twenty years and I seem to be OK riding in his huge pickup truck. Can I just maybe show up or not, if he gets busy or whatever? I never know how I am doing on the long term, but I am feeling pretty good right now. Gots two or three basses to bring others might enjoy. I even have an Alembic 'stick' bass that might amuse a few.

Of course you would be welcome. Make sure you get the directions from Mica as the location is a bit difficult to find.

Thomas , it will be nice to meet you , I will have to leave early but will be there at the start . I have a little coffee house gig later that day and a large Festival gig the next day .

Same here. Maybe one day I will get to another of the Gatherings. It might be a good idea to plan it with some of the other guys based in the UK and Europe and make it a more international affair.
