First read about Alembic in a early 70's issue of Rolling Stone. There was a picture of a strange looking guitar built for Johnny Winter. Got the bug after hearing Stanley use one on RTF's Where Have I Known You Before. Thirty years later and I have one on order! Woo Hoo!

Welcome to the club, Dan! I've read about the specs of your bass, and I was very impressed. I especially like the chrome hardware and the neck off course. Should make a fine FTC-thread also!

Welcome and congrats. You're in for a real treat. The story of my exposure to Alembic and the wait to get one is much like yours. If you appreciate quality and great sound you'll never regret getting one.
