Thanks for the good wishes. I just got it back from the guitar shop alls polished and oiled and straightened and it's simply amazing. I'll try to get some daylight shots in the showcase area, but with extremely grey, windy and rainy weather right now that may be a few days

That sure is a good looking bass. I'm sure it sounds fantastic. With the mahogany body, does it have a deep,low,heavy sound? Does that wood make the bass heavy to play for a long time?

The sound is an excellent mix of low end and very defined mid/high. Not overly low, no. It's actually quite light (realtively) because the body is quite small. My OLP Musicman copy is about the same weight, but its body is much larger.
