I am the original owner of a 1985 Spoiler and am still spoiled. It looks and sounds as good (almost on the looks dept.) as the day I bought it. I own a Michael Kelly acoustic, but for band performance the Alembic always rules.

Original owner! Good for you, sir! How wonderful that you've had your baby 20+ years!

I remember drooling over a spoiler back in the day, long before I could afford one.

Spoilers are awesome, and superior to 99.99 % of the other basses out there; the only contenders are other Alembics!
