New to club, new Rogue
« on: December 12, 2006, 07:26:57 PM »
Hi everyone, I just picked up my first Alembic, an Orion, about 2 weeks ago.  My second, a Rogue, arrived today.

I'm sorry, but I have a couple newbie questions about the controls on my Rogue.  I read the must read post that explained the controls are volume, pan, filter, Q switch, bass boost/cut switch, treble boost/cut switch.

My stupid newbie questions are - when looking down at the switches while  wearing the bass - is the first switch on the left the Q switch?  What I mean is, those directions above - are they from left to right when looking down at the switches?  And the filter - exactly how does it function?  Does anyone have a pic of the control layout with labels for each switch?

Again, I apologize for the bozo questions, but the  functions of the switches and filter just aren't clear to me yet.

Thanks

Jon

Jon.
Sounds to me like Europa electronics. The switch closest to the neck should be treble boost/flat/cut, the middle is bass boost/flat/cut.The other is Q switch.
Treat the filter as a tone switch.

Welcome to the club and congrats on that beautiful Rogue.  My first month gig in Denver was at a club called the Horny Toad.  Don't get the wrong idea, though.  Everyone there was in their 50s.  That seemed pretty old when I was 22!
