Hello. My name is Mark. I just bought an Alembic on Ebay and am waiting for it to arrive. At the suggestion of the seller I am joining this forum. After looking around on here a bit it seems like there are plenty of knowledgeable and entertaining characters on here to learn and laugh from.
Hopefully, I can do the same in return...

Hi Mark; welcome and congrats! I notice you posted in the Troubleshooting section about looking for a tech to setup your bass. You may want to take a look at
Joey's Setup Post
in the
Must Reads
section; and while you're there, you'll find a lot of other useful info in the Must Reads and also in the
section.
Enjoy!

Hi Mark.
Welcome aboard!
You're right with your observation as to the wealth of knowledge and *characters* here. All you need do is ask and it all comes together.
Congratulations on your new bass!
Best Regards,
Kimberly

Wadidya get, wadidya get? We love pictures, so please post some in the showcase when your new baby arrives.
All the best and enjoy.

Don't be afraid to speak your mind. The knowledge base is deep. Other threads I really like can be found in the owning an alembic-funny stories section. Hey.. welcome aboard. NLP
