Howdy pardners!

How you doing all you funky fret meisters!
Now I'm an official Alembic user, Sue suggested I join the clan to say hi, share ideas and what ever comes up!
So hi from a very wet cold dark England!
I've got a couple of endorsments from some bass companies, but hey! I got the King of basses ;)
Nearly midnite over here, so about to hit the sack, hope everyone here is well, look forward to catching up with folks soon!
Every success and blessing

Pete:

Welcome to the club and congrats on your wise choice of Alembic!  Stick around a bit and you'll find as nice a bunch of music freaks as one could ever hope for, all ready, willing, and able to answer Alembic questions, as well as most other subjects too!

Hi Pete and welcome to the club from Scotland. That's a nice triple O. There's at least one club member (jazzyvee) in birmingham. You should try to meet up.

Hi, Pete, and welcome to the club !

That triple O is breathtaking. This has to be Rhapsody in Blue, the 1999 featured custom that was for sale in Sacramento, CA, last year, right ? I was drooling over the photos like a hungry bear

congrats and play her healthy,

Christian

Thanks guys!
Yeah, ?Rhapsody in Blue?, I?m very privileged to own it!
I?m having it set up in the next couple of weeks, have the brass cleaned etc!
The guy who is doing it is a pro, so should come back even better!!
We have a gig coming up in the next few weeks. It?s a web cast for a rock radio show in the UK, so hopefully get some new shots actually using it!

My only issue and problem with owning an Alembic, I want another one!
Is there a link on this site to AA? (Alembics Anonymous)

Pete, that is an ailment common to Alembic owners. As for the link, welcome to AA. It's pretty much the same bunch of folks.

That is a beautiful bass, congratulations. Living not extremely far from Bass Central I've had the opportunity to hold and play a few Alembics but never a Triple O.
