Hi From New England
« on: January 17, 2010, 07:15:47 AM »
Hi All,  I have been a great admirer of Alembic instruments for as long as I can remember.  I have been playing for about 25 years and I always knew/hoped that one day I would own one.  In recent years the Further has been my object of great affection.  I am now the very proud keeper of this amazing guitar.  I would like to thank all of you that came before me.  This club has been a wonderful resource for me over the years.  I have spent countless hours pouring over the very insightful post.  It has been a tremendous education for which I am very grateful.

Welcome to the forum.  What a beautiful Further!  Wishing you many years of healthy playing on your first Alembic.

John:

Welcome to the club.  It's always nice to have another six-stringer around here, especially a fellow Further player.  Yours appears to have an extra special top.  Very nice! Does your moniker MC500 perhaps refer to a certain Ibanez instrument, by any chance?  (I used to have an MC400).

Thank you guys.  I could not begin to say all the wonderful things I could say about this guitar.  Every single day I am amazed.

Bill, yes.  I have quite a few Ibanez Musicians from the 70's and early 80's.  The gang has grown over the years.  Most of my guitars can be seen here:  http://ibanezmc.com/

Thanks again for the welcome.  It is great to be part of such a terrific community.
