Alembic Tribute
« on: December 19, 2010, 12:04:39 PM »
Hi All after two long years of looking I finally got my Tribute, it was completed on 12/13/2010 and I got it 12/18/2010. All I can say is it was worth the wait to get just what I wanted

Dominic,
Looks like you were a very good boy for Santa to impart such joy unto you this holiday season!
That is a very beautiful guitar.

It has taken a long time for that body shape to get through to me. Now I think it's a fantastic guitar shape especially with a wild cocobolo top like that one. Coco bolo is such a great looking wood and you have a fabulous guitar. Congratulations.

Welcome to the club, Dominic.  It's always nice to have another six-stringer around as the club is definitely bass heavy (though they are as fine a group of bass players as you'll find anywhere - lol).  Very pretty cocobolo you have there.  Even the back of the headstock is an attention grabber.  And, as I'm sure you are figuring out, Alembics are a blast to play.  So a hearty congratulations on your brand new Tribute, and don't forget to come up for air once in a while!
