It's a cryin' shame that one the best forms of humor, sarcasm, is one of the hardest to get across on this popular form of communication. I've worked in technology for twenty years now, and I can't count the number of times I've seen someone become offended on a newsgroup or bulletin board, when the intent really wasn't there. With the global reach of a group such as ours, misunderstandings will occassionally occur. I've been a member of this group nearly two years, and I can't recount an instance of a member berating or poking at another member. We are all drawn here by our love for these amazing works of art, that just happen to double as musical instruments, and our desire to share that love - and amazement! To be perfectly honest, I read Keavin's post, scrolled back to the picture in question, and howled with laughter. I got it. I think the instrument and case in question are beautiful, and, that case certainly provides maximum protection for the work of art inside.
BTW, if anyone is offended, or just doesn't understand my humor or my point of view, understand that I worshipped the humor of Monty Python, Firesign Theater and George Carlin in my formative years. I'm just a tool, a student like you, and if I've offended anyone, I'll just run away! Oh, the weather forecast tonight calls for, dark, with partly scattered light in the early morning hours. Laugh-on everybody, please! And now, for something completely different..
