I just LOVE the way this bass looks in Coco Bolo!

01X12695 also has an optional high gloss polyester finish.

and I bet you'll have the max. effect of the tonal qualities of this fine wood - bookmatch top to center and set neck! Great bass!

Mica, I am now the proud owner of this fine instrument, purchased last Dec. from Absolute Music in Fairborn(Dayton) Ohio. In reality, the picture does not do it true justice. The Bass has a much more reddish hue, very striking. And it plays and sounds as good as it looks. It plays like BUTTAH! When I first bought it, I was a little concerned it may have been limited in tone by the single pickup, but I have found that, with minor tweaks of the Treble or Bass knobs, it has a wonderful range of tonal qualities. It Sings, it Growls, it Thumps, it ROARS! I have found myself using it more and more.  Kudos to Alembic for making such a wonderful instrument, and I am thankful I was fortunate enough to acquire it!!

Michael; congrats on owning this bass!  I would imagine the Coco Bolo sounds great with a set neck.
