I saw somewhere in this Europa section about protruding frets, my bass had this issue but magically cured itself! This bass never had a 30-Day Setup or any going-over. Short of neck adjustments, pickup height, and bridge adjustments, I have never needed to change anything from factory setup. It has only been played about everyday since it was brand new.
I really wish I had chosen another color. This is translucent black, you can see the flame in the maple top and the neck laminates (11 of em, alternating maple/purpleheart) through the finish. But, as you can see from the photos, its hard to see the details from more than a few feet, and especially with poor light, it just looks black.
I need to buy some screws for the control cavity, its missing two. My truss-rod plate has gone missing somewhere in my aparment for about 3 years. It has caused me some concern since it has the serial number engraved in it. I probably need a replacement plate made.
In the last two weeks the top strap-button screw has wiggled loosed several times. I think it won't tighten up anymore. That is going to require fixing somehow too.
Input jack makes a static, shorting sound if I wiggle the cord a bit. This has been an issue since it was brand new but I have yet to want to part with it to have it fixed. All the contact points in the plug (plug meaning 1/4 input jack) seem ok and the wiring is solid, no shorts or loose wires, it works great so long as you don't move the plug at all. so i'm not sure what is causing this.
I would presume if there was a warranty covering this stuff, it has expired?
