Brought Back To Life Spoiler
« on: August 26, 2011, 06:50:57 PM »
I bought this Spoiler in 81 but serial no. says its a 82. To make a long story short, I bought it an was on the road for a few years an had to come off due to health reasons.I hired a bassis to take my place an being use to hearing the Spoiler we had to let him play through it. After a bout 8 years when I got it back I was sick. The finish was terrible the brass was black an the electronics were shot. After a long battle tring to get it fixed I ran up a guy in Huntersville NC that said he would bring it back to life an did he really do it.He pu the ne Bartolini pick ups made for the Spoiler an refinished it an this is what I came out with. I know every body have different opions but this really suited me. Hope all the Alembicians think so to

Nice bass Richard. That's an interesting wood combination, what is it? If it's a maple neck, it looks pretty dark.

Answer to the question I'm not sure of the guitar wood but the neck is maple. It's the color of stain that made the neck that color. Thanks for the good comment.
