My '91 Essence, used in Iraq.  I dubbed it the Burkha King.  It's my second Essence.  What a bass.

I don't know if I'm cool, but I'm certainly unique.  I'm the only guy to have an Alembic in Iraq.

...and probably the only guy to have both an Alembic and an M9 strapped on at the same time!

Well, don't be too sure about that.

But I had to buy mine retail, but I got to skip boot camp!

I'm guessing that's to keep the fans from rushing the stage.

No, just insurance we ALWAYS get paid.  They don't tell you about THAT in the Music Business courses at Berklee or Belmont!

Ha!
Joey, I figured you for a shooter based on your post on the Russian bass...and then I read this!

Proof!

Well, it's nice to know there's more of us gun-toting Alembicans.

Alan,
Hope you get to bring the King back home soon!

Guns would be a serious thread hijack.

Of course, it did start with a photo of one...

Seriously though, whether you enjoy firearms or are on the gun control side of the fence, we are FREE to do either because 24/7, men and women like our Major Dover are willing to do whatever it takes to enable that freedom.

THANK YOU, AJD

Joey,

    Hey, just doing my job.

Charles,

I'm back home now, and so is the Burkha King.  Good to be back with my wife and my basses!

Welcome Home, Alan, and thanks for just doing your job.  It means that the rest of us don't have to do a lot worse.

Joey, a FAL fan?  Personally I prefer M1-A's, but FAL's are cool if they work for you!

Waitaminnit...M9's, battle rifles...AND red Alembics!?!?  That's got to be more than just coincidence!

...where did I put my tinfoil hat?
