Hi 3rd_ray,
in the meantime they changed their name to tecamp (
www.tecamp.de ). To my point of view, the neodym speakers do allways sound a little more agressive, especially on higher volumes. But if you are playing a small setup ( like this little enclosure ), this might be an advantatge, because with the band you have a better sound. The small 110 and the little bigger 112 sound pretty warm and natural. The 110 is a closed enclosure ( no bass-reflex ), what makes it a little more detailled. Even with a big Amp ( this little LMK has 500 Watt at 4 Ohm ! ), this enclosure sounds very good, even if you turn it louder. There are different positions for the horn - from warm attack to hard attack, and you can even switch it on and off with a footswitch ( interesting for slappers ? ). As there is a new series on the market, I got this little baby really cheap.
But the best thing at all - my wife loves it, because it is so small! So I was permitted to have it in the livingroom.
Appart from this joke - it is allways a pleasure to play with such a little setup. First of all, everybody is laughing, until you raise the volume a little bit.
Kind regards,
Chris
