Nice bass I love the logo on the body. I think Keavin has one on his bass it looks quite elegant there. Do you have the logo on the headstock too?

I've not seen an orion with that body shape before either.
Enjoy your alembic experience.
The sound of Alembic is medicine for the soul!

Very nice. I have always  like the standard point body shape. I was in a state of hyperbole and true bliss after I acquired mine .I was in love .I think that this is the first set neck Alembic specimen that I have seen in this body shape .  It is  SWELL to be sure .  Congratulations my friend !

Miguel,
Since weight appears to be an issue you might want to consider the Essence body shape. This is the smallest standard body shape that Alembic offers and they do come up for sale with some regularity. As far as playability I have played Mica's Kingwood Essence and loved it. This does bring me to the point out that the type of wood needs to be considered. Mica's bass is quite heavy due to the wood selection. On the other hand I have played a mahogany body with maple top that as I recall was quite light. Here is a link to the  thread where you can get an idea of the variety.
