Takeo,
At the moment I use the lightest Elixir strings by Gore, gauges 40-60-75-95. I was looking for a good sounding, light string that keep a clear tone for a long period of time. You may know the Elixir strings for having a Polyweb coating, which protects the string from getting dull en lifeless because of gunk and goo that cause contamination and corrosion. They just last and last. These are the lightest Elixir had to offer. I had to compromise between durablity of strings and my preference for (very) light strings.
As far as the gauges are concerned, these work ok for me, although I've played thinner ones and I must admit I enjoy the thinner ones better.
The tension doen't differ that much. It just has to do with playing style combined with playability of the strings. The 40-60-80-100 strings are just a tad too heavy to my taste. I wish elixir had a lighter string. I might consider switching to a different brand, with lighter strings. Possibly even the Elites ultra light 30-50-70-90. I think 35-55-75-95 will do great for your MK Dlx.
