PS: Pfwiiiiiiiiiiiiiieeeeee-wieeeeee is the old Elfish expression for wistling in admiration.

Yeah, I picked it up Friday before noon, and took it to practice that night. THIS BASS IS INCREDIBLE!!!!

Absolutely fantastic!!! That is one fabulous looking bass. Seems strange seeing it finished after our numerous discussions! Utterly beautiful though. And as for the inlays, well I said nobody does 'em like Alembic.....

Truely, no one anywhere on earth does as fine a job with Buckeye Burl as the good people at Alembic. I have seen several other makes over the years, and most don't come even close. From one Buckeye owner to another, congratulations on a gorgeous guitar!
Correction: there is 'much' money to be made above the fifth fret....

I think I really like buckeye burl.  Wow.  What are the tonal characteristics with the buckeye.   Now I think I want a Rogue with buckeye burl.
