Hi K_P, I'm sure you have realised that Elans are great basses and have a wonderfully clear, crisp and majestic tone. I have a lovely purple Elan plus which I've decided to try out with a new band I have recently joined and it's great. When I first bought it i felt the maple was making the sound far too bright and limited but now i've started to get used to it. I'm loving it.
Your model looks great, I much prefer the natural wood look of alembics. :-)
