Nice collection! The Alembics....gorgeous.The Jaydeee....wow! The Mockingbird? I obsessed over that bass all thru highschool(still have a soft spot). If money wasn't a limiting factor,my own collection would look similer.

waaww.... impressive...
I recognize some baixos I had when I was between 18 and 25 old:
Rickenbacker 4001, Musicman, Fender precision, Gibson SG, Aria pro II, Steinberger, BC Rich and... Alembic. Anyway, at these old times, I had to sell one bass to buy another one...so I have kept none from these years ...

Wonderful collection of all the greats and innovators. I wish you continued enjoyment, inspiration and above all great health to play them well into the future. Also kudos for having a few black finish ones in the collection. Its become my favorite. Cheers!

Thanks Abidu you just confirmed that I really don't have enough basses.
My favourite in that lineup is the short scale series I bass.

You have a great collection. How do you decide which bass to play on any particular gig?

Which is your go to bass for all occasions?

What a fabulous collection, I've owned some of these over the years . . . .

-Yamaha BB2000, a bass Fender has yet to duplicate despite the fact of it's more than obvious influences.  Remind me to tell you HOW the 2000 evolved into the 3000.

-If you've obviously rounded up what I call the great 80's MTV basses (Ibanez Musicican, Aria SB, Yamaha BB) you need to finish the 'quintet', you must get a TUNE Bass Mainiac and a Daion Mark XX.

-The two first basses I ever bought brand new, the Gibson RD (a bass so big and heavy and long that a long scale Series bass is almost a relief) and the Ripper, both afflicted with the poorest excuse for a bass bridge known to man, except for Rickenbackers.

-That green Jazz . . . . they just look SO much better with matching headstocks, paint-wise.

A wonderful collection, good on ya  ! !

great collection. Love the RDs. My first foray into homemade instruments was a fretless RD copy that I still play occasionally.
