Hi Guys ya this has been my main axe for many years, I am the 2nd owner. A friend bought it new in Seatle in 73, my power supply is # 17 that came with it.

That is beautiful. I love the caramel colored pickups.

What are the neck woods? Scale length? I am assuming that the extra knob is a master volume. I know, we're just full of questions around here!

The neck I think has walnut, maple, purple heart, mahogony. Just a guess alembic never kept good records in the early days so they tell me.
The scale is 34 and the extra knob is a master volume possibly one of the first ones with the master volume. This bass has incredible tone.

That style has shown up on a few early Alembics, including Old #10 and this peanut guitar.
