Black Oak Arkansas??

Speaking of Ginger Baker, et al, I half-heard on the radio a few days ago that Cream (all 3 of course) is doing a tour in 2005.  I haven't verified this but that's what I think I heard.

On reading the article it would seem the chances of them playing anywhere near me would be remote. Durn!

I'm sure the DVD will be very good but to see them live, that would be great.  I've seen EC and GB seperatly. I've not had the pleasure of seeing Jack live. I don't know if there is a Cream version of the Dead Head but if there is that would be me.

Sam, that would be the 1993 Masters of Reality recording called 'Sunrise on the Sufferbus'. It's one of my favourite rock albums of all time. Highly recommended, and not only because of Ginger's excellent drumming!

Well here's where I drive it off into the ditch:

I can't stand Jack Bruce ! ! !

There, I said it.  I can't believe Eric's gonna let himself in for this misery,  but I can believe easily that it took him thirty years and sobriety to get over it where he can play with these 2 clowns again.  I just hope he doesn't need to check himself in at Crossroads after these four gigs.  Boy is he gonna miss Nate and Steve Ferrone !

OK, let me have it . . . .

Brother Joey ...
why should we???
It's your opnion.
I ithink that -in it's time wrap- Cream was for me amazing and the show in London COULD be special for me I think. To revive good memories, but when you talk the Nathan /Eric combination I completeley agree ...in THIS time wrap.
I am reluctant to compare in time.
BTW it's why I said that the concert COULD be interesting. I can only hope they add something new to what was.

I have to get a good laugh in here.  I can't think of a time I saw someone get blasted (well a both-barrels blast, anyway) here that didn't deserve it.  Joey, having an opinion doesn't warrant a blast.  I doubt any one of the three is so poor that they had to do a buck-raising gig.  Maybe they're doing it for the fans.  You know, giving us geezers one more nostangic thrill before we croak.  Pure speculation here, but maybe they liked being on stage together but couldn't stand the tour bus.  Four nights in the same venue might not be too bad.

Come on Joey, don't hold back, tell us what you really think.

I've always suspected there were musical tastes out there other than mine, odd as that may seem.  That's what makes the world go 'round.

Well Cream was a great group and I'm glad to see a reunion but I have to laugh when I think back to the infamous on stage fist fight between Jack Bruce and Ginger Baker. I hope they are all grown up now.
