Any pictures of Marvin Isley with his Series II?

I remember seeing him holding a bass as big as he was on one album back in the 1970's

Oh, my goodness...

Marvin Isley is what you get as a bassist after being involved with the legendary Jimi Hendrix, and Hendrix's influences on younger brother Ernie Isley.

What you get, is the prelude, and interest from a Bass player, to an Alembic bass player... pushing the infancy, and outer-most reaching of a true legitimate FUNK band.

Marvin's bass playing exhilarating, and refreshingly tactful as: climbin up the ladder.

...and my all-time most favorite Isley song: Voyage To Atlantis

No woman would refuse me in slow-dancing on this song... (because that song was a big help...)

RIP Brother Marvin.

Peace, and Love

A picture speaks a thousand words...

Marvin Isley, with an Alembic bass... while recording: GO FOR YOUR GUNS LP (1970's).

Thank you Marvin, and thank you Alembic Inc. with all my heart, for it was the parts, that made it whole.

Peace and love,

Hal-
